M.Mus (McGill), B.Mus (Humber), Dip (Selkirk College)Mike Ardagh teaches ‘Technology for Performers’; a course offered as part of the Glenn Gould School's Performance Diploma Program. This course helps students to build a foundational understanding of the music production process and its modern tools. Mike holds a Diploma in Contemporary Music and Technology from Selkirk College in Nelson, BC, a Bachelor of Music from Humber College in Toronto, ON, and a Master of Music (Sound Recording) from McGill University in Montreal, QC.Equally comfortable on-stage or in-studio, Mike prides himself on his ability to craft sounds and inspire great performances from his fellow musicians. He loves a challenge and enjoys an eclectic variety of music, spanning across all genres.Active as a freelance musician, producer and engineer in Toronto, Mike's work can be heard on recordings by Justin Dunlop, Nick Doneff, Terra Grimard, The O’Pears, The Montreal Chamber Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra, and many others.Mike is also part of the music faculty at Humber College in Toronto where he teaches music production and technology.
